Erica Spiller

Erica holds an MA in English Literature from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is an LGBTQ+ author with a variety of publications, including peer-reviewed articles and an award-winning short story. She is am also a two-time winner of the Iowa Playwrights Workshop. In 2021, she published a nonfiction book, IOWA WOMEN’S CORRECTIONS: A HISTORY, and all royalties are donated to the Women’s Corrections Education Fund at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women. Erica currently works in higher education, where she received a Tapestry Award for her support of underrepresented groups. Her books and WIPs further demonstrates my commitment to amplifying historically marginalized voices.
